• Account details — name, email, phone number, language and region.
• Profile and content — posts, questions, bookmarks and preferences.
• Donation details — processed securely by our payment partner (we do not store full card details).
• Location data — only when you use location-based features such as temple discovery or the Abhaya safety feature.
• Device and usage data — app version, device type, and analytics that help us improve the Platform.

03How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, personalise and improve the Platform and its features.
• Process voluntary donations and event registrations (RSVPs).
• Enable community, seva and the Abhaya safety network.
• Send important updates, receipts and (with consent) devotional content.
• Keep the Platform safe and prevent misuse.

04Location & the Abhaya Feature

Your location is collected and shared only during an emergency you choose to trigger, or while you actively use a location-based feature. When you trigger Abhaya, your live location may be shared with your chosen trusted contacts and the responding community to help them assist you. You can disable location sharing at any time in your settings.

05How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

• With service providers (payments, hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality.
• With your trusted contacts and community, as part of features you activate (e.g. Abhaya).
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law (such as India's DPDP Act and the GDPR), you may:

• Access, correct or update your personal information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
