01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Our Sanatan website and mobile application (together, the "Platform"), operated by Sanatan Ekta Foundation ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

02About Our Sanatan

Our Sanatan is a digital ecosystem for the Sanatani community — offering spiritual learning, devotional content, temple discovery, seva and donation opportunities, community features, store and event discovery, and the Abhaya women's safety system.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

04Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Post unlawful, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or misleading content.
• Disrespect any faith, community, deity, or individual.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or overload the Platform.
• Use the Platform for fraud, spam, or any commercial purpose we have not authorised.

05User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

06Content & Conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the Platform for the purpose of operating our services. You are solely responsible for the content you post, and we may remove content that violates these Terms.

07Donations & Payments

The only payments made through the Platform are voluntary donations — we do not sell any goods or services in the app. Donations support temples, seva, social initiatives and the running of the Foundation, and are processed by a third-party payment provider (by donating, you also agree to their terms).

Donations are voluntary contributions and are non-refundable. Please review our Donation & Refund Policy for details on how funds are used and tax exemption.

08Stores, Events & Seva

Stores, events and seva opportunities are listed for discovery only. The Platform does not sell goods or process purchases — these listings may be submitted by us or by verified members, and any visit, dealing or transaction you choose to make with them happens outside the Platform. While we take care to review listings, we are not responsible for the acts, products or services of third parties.

09Abhaya Safety Feature — Important

Abhaya is a community-assisted personal safety tool designed to alert your trusted contacts and community and to share your location during an emergency you trigger.

Abhaya is NOT a replacement for police, ambulance or official emergency services. It depends on device, network, location and battery availability, and we cannot guarantee delivery, response time, or outcome. In any emergency, always contact official emergency services first.

10Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, logos, original bhajans, written content and software are owned by or licensed to Sanatan Ekta Foundation and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without our written permission. Scriptural texts are part of our shared heritage and are presented for study and devotion.

11Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Spiritual, educational and AI-generated guidance is offered for informational purposes and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanatan Ekta Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on the Abhaya feature, third-party transactions, or content.

13Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the community. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at our registered location, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

15Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
